44 but believing him to be in the group of travelers, they went a day’s journey. And they began searching for[a] him among their[b] relatives and their[c] acquaintances, 45 and when they[d] did not find him,[e] they returned to Jerusalem to search for him. 46 And it happened that after three days they found him in the temple courts,[f] sitting in the midst of the teachers and listening to them and asking them questions.
